As a military spouse for 28 years, Katie Payne understands the importance of finding home. Katie earned successive degrees in the communication field through Baylor and Texas A&M Universities. She values family and community. She has served in leadership positions in numerous civic and non profit organizations while raising her four daughters.
Licensed in both Kansas and Missouri, Katie is an Accredited Buyers Representative and a Military Relocation Specialist. She coordinates a complimentary Military Home Buying Seminar to the community.

I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Katie and the experience we had working with her!Buying a home is stressful enough, but buying a home in Kansas while living internationally in Italy and preparing for a military PCS with kids and what felt like a million pieces of luggage is a whole different level of stressful. Katie somehow made the entire home-buying process feel easy.From the very beginning, she went above and beyond for our family. She helped us search for the perfect home from thousands of miles away, completed virtual walkthroughs so we could truly see and understand each property, answered all of our questions, and guided us through every step of the buying process. We never felt like the distance put us at a disadvantage because Katie made sure we had everything we needed to make informed decisions.But what really stood out was that her help didn't stop once we bought the house. When we finally arrived in Kansas after an exhausting international move, she continued to go above and beyond to help our family transition into our new home. After a long PCS from another country, having someone willing to step in and make things just a little easier meant more to us than she probably realizes.She also had incredibly thoughtful resources waiting for us in our new home, including pamphlets and books about Kansas, Missouri, and the Leavenworth area.
